Vulvar Skin Disorders – Vulvar Dermatoses
Women can be affected by a number of “skin conditions” during their lifetime, including eczema, psoriasis and other dermatoses.
The genital skin can also be affected by specific dermatologic conditions, which can cause changes in skin texture, redness, itching, ulcers, splitting, cracking and bleeding. Vulvar skin conditions should be diagnosed by a specialist and can be successfully treated with medication that is specific to the disorder.
